What is a News Feed?
News feeds, also referred to as RSS (Really Simple Syndication), delivers information from webpages to users. Instead of checking your 20 favorite websites to see if there is anything new, RSS delivers the information to you. All you need is a program called a feed reader or aggregator, or sign up with an online service, or use a browser that supports RSS. To find out more visit http://lanecc.edu/library/feeds/index.htm
The following feeds are created from searching the Library database, EBSCO. Each feed is automatically updated with the newest articles from publishers such as PC World, PC Magazine, eWeek, and Network World. Click on the title and go to the article. If you are off campus, you will be asked for your last name and L number. These links contain the full article (full-text). Scroll down to view. If the article is not displayed, click on "PDF Full Text."
